The Psyche, Leptosia nina malayana (Fruhstorfer)

This is a low flying and feeble butterfly found equally in open countries and in a forested path. It is common in all localities and is often seen fluttering about flowering bushes lowly. It is small, delicate and simply coloured chalky white except for a black subapical spot and thin black borders on its forewings apex. The undersides are marked with greenish streaks.
