The Smaller Wood Nymph, Ideopsis gaura perakana (Fruhstorfer)

This butterfly is common in the hills, sometimes found also in the plains on the edge of forests and can often be seen gliding like a small Idea, sometimes visiting flowering bushes. They breed on a species of Hoya found in certain localities in Raub.
