This male specimen was photographed on a flower bed in Fraser's Hills on an overcast day. It is a difficult and confusing butterfly to identify among the many look-alike Neptis. However, it can be identified by its almost white hindwing discal band on its underside (pix 1) and a cresentic post-discal spot on space 3 of its forewings (pix 2-4).07 August 2013 @ 9:56
