The Black and White Helen, Papilio nephelus sunatus (Corbet)

This butterfly has a wider habitat coverage than the Red Helen into the plains and can often be seen in the same localities. It seldoms puddle like the Red Helen and is usually restless on the wings, even when feeding on flowering bushes. On flight, it looks like a Red Helen except for a white band on the forewings.
