This is the smallest species of the genus, hence its name and can easily be identified solely by its size and a decidedly "lighter" appearance than the others of the genus. It also has a more rounded wing shape compared to other Crows. It frequents the same localities of the Tigers and other Crows. Moderately common throughout the year in all the usual localities.
