The Malay Tailed Judy, Archigenes savitri savitri (C & R Felder)

This shy butterfly was a difficult subject as it was restless and darted around with half-opened wings all the time before disappearing into the forest... This is not a common insect and is found on sunlit spaces on the understorey.
