Characterised by the presence of 3 cell spots on the undersides of the wings. However, this guiding point for identification can be confusing as it is a variable species and can display vestigial third spot on the FW cell. Largest by wingspan of the Eurema.

The eggs are laid on the young leaves of Senna alata in large batches, preferring rather shaded or protected environment and the larvae are gregarious, feeding in groups.
Above: batches of white cylindrical eggs are laid on the undersides of younger leaves...
Above 1st instar larvae
The gregarious larvae are voracious feeders and can easily deplete branches of leaves...Above the large final instar caterpillars.
The pupa has a range of colours from grassy olive to darker brown
moments before eclosion...
