The Dubious Flitter, Quedara monteithi monteithi (Wood-Mason & de Nicéville)

Overall dark brown and without markings. Visit flowers in the earlier part of sunny mornings and keeps to forest fringes and wooded countries. Rare and likely to be seasonal.

Below is a record shot of a suspect Quedara singularis (Mabille) from mid-elevation but in need for further confirmation (S3) as  it is visibly a much larger and robust insect compared to the above.
